Jim says "This song is also pretty self-explainatory. Its' about waking up in regret and doing whatever necessary to get yourself through it. The 'you' in the last line of the song refers to a bottle of liquor. Preferably Jim Beam Rye. The original line paid homage to Tacocat and went 'shame spiral in my head and I'm filling it up with gin instead'. I don't really remember how or why that got changed. Also, there was some debate about using Further v. Farther. I believe this is the correct usage and will fight anyone who says otherwise.
